LOLIE VERNET-SENHADJ

Lolie was introduced to Oriental Dance in 1996. Since then, she has never stopped to deepen her work and serve her art.

Vocational training
She first started learning with Nadia Messaï, then with Leila Haddad (Lolie was a member of the Leila Haddad's troup from 2002 to 2004), Mayodi and Yousry Sharif. Motivated by her insatiable wish to go further in her artistic work, she also attended many courses with various teachers such as Myriam Douïou, Lamia Safieddine, Raqia Hassan, Beata & Horacio Cifuentes, etc. to extend her dance vocabulary so that she could develop her own style and personnality in her dance.

Oriental dance teacher
Lolie has been teaching oriental dance in Paris since 2000 and is travelling now more and more in France and abroad to give classes and performances.

Talented dancer and choreographer
She got the 1st price at 3 international contests of oriental dance before the most prestigious committee of judges (such as Nagwa Fouad, Dr Mo Geddawi, Farida Fahmy, Yasmina from Cairo, Amir Thaleb, Beata & Horacio Cifuentes,etc.). Lolie has performed in numerous prestigious shows and events.

Creations
Between 2009 and 2012, accompanied by 5 other artists, Lolie has presented her own creation Paris, entitled "Ils dansent...Hourriya", which drags its originality from combining oriental music and dancing with other different music styles such as hip-hop and electro. This one-hour-and-a-half-long show is certainly set under the sign of sharing and is an invitation to travel.

Event
Lolie has also launched "Orientally-The Dance Collection-Vol.1", her 1st music CD fully dedicated to oriental dancing and specially created for her by Egyptian composer Mohamed Ali, under the artistic direction of Yousry Sharif.
In 2012 is released "Orientally - The Dance Collection- Vol.2", composed & arranged by the great Hossam Shaker.
